There has been so much excitement and anticipation building for these new 2010 Humminbird units that you can feel it in the air. Word on the street is that the wait is nearly over. Humminbird has begun to ship the new 898c SI Sonar GPS Combo units to Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s and the other retailers will follow shortly. I don’t know if the retailers will immediately ship the new units or if they will wait for an official release date. At least they are on the way from Humminbird to a warehouse near you. If you have not ordered your new HB unit yet then you better get on it. Bass Pro, Cabela’s and several other retailers have been taking orders for weeks already.
