Humminbird recently announced the new 1198c SI Combo for the 2011 model year. This looks like a great new fishfinder/gps unit with some new features such as ethernet connectivity and a much brighter screen. There are probably dozens of other great new features that we just haven’t heard about yet. I’ll have some info here soon with specs and demo videos. When the new hardware comes out there are usually some new software updates too, so if you already have a Humminbird fishfinder you’re happy with, you may get another present from Humminbird via download.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the new Humminbird 1198c fishfinder/gps combo in early 2011. The latest and greatest from humminbird, and that’s saying something right there! The 1198 promises to be an awesome new unit for 2011.
