		<description>You might be able to get away with a B-size ball, but those are designed for units weighing around 5 pounds or less.  I think the Humminbird 798s are about 6 pounds.  The RAM Mount site (link above) recommends the  RAM-107U (about $50)  or the RAM-B-107U (about $30).  The RAM-B-107U is a B-size ball too, so I guess they do recommend a B-size as an option for the 798.

I guess if I had to pick, I&#039;d go with what RAM has to say, or find someone who has the 798 and see what they are using.  Good luck with it.  RAM is the way to go!
